ZUMBA is a third-generation pyrethroid insecticide with contact and stomach action, as well as repellent properties. It provides rapid knockdown and has long residual activity. The Capsule Suspension formulation contains tiny, thin-walled capsules that hold the active ingredient. These capsules are suspended in water and are released only when the spray deposit dries on the target pest and leaf surface. ZUMBA is recommended for controlling bollworms in cotton, stem borer and leaf folder in paddy, shoot and fruit borer in brinjal, fruit borer in okra and tomato, thrips and flea beetle in grapes, and thrips and pod borer in chilli. It is also effective against stem fly and semilooper in soybean crops, as well as thrips and fruit borer on pomegranate crops
