Corporate Social Responsibility
At Cropnosys India, we believe responsible growth goes beyond what we create as a business. Our CSR initiatives focus on supporting communities, protecting the environment, and creating opportunities for people and animals to thrive. Through partnerships with trusted organisations, we work towards meaningful and sustainable change in the areas that matter most.
Farmer Empowerment
In partnership with ISAP India Foundation
Profit Pathways: Enhancing Farm Income through Input Efficiency and Market Linkages
Through this CSR initiative, Cropnosys India Private Limited, in partnership with ISAP India Foundation, worked to strengthen the livelihoods of smallholder farmers in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. Initiated in FY 2024–25, the project reached 1,500 farmers across three Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), with a focus on improving soil health, promoting efficient use of agricultural inputs, building farmer capacities, and strengthening access to markets.
The initiative included soil testing and customized nutrient management, village-level training and crop demonstrations, along with support for collective marketing and value addition, particularly for menthol crops. Through these interventions, the project aimed to improve productivity, reduce input costs, enhance market access, and ultimately increase farm profitability. The initiative reflects Cropnosys India’s commitment to sustainable agriculture, inclusive growth, and empowering farming communities through knowledge and collaborative action.
Animal Welfare
In collaboration with CUPA (Compassion Unlimited Plus Action) and SMS NGO
A day of care, compassion, and hands-on action. Every year, Cropnosys India brings its employees together for an Animal Welfare Volunteer Day in collaboration with CUPA (Compassion Unlimited Plus Action) and SMS NGO. Teams stepped away from their everyday roles to spend time caring for animals in need. Volunteers took part in cleaning and bathing animals, maintaining hygiene, assisting with routine care, and helping keep their surroundings clean and comfortable.
The day was centred on the small, essential acts that make a difference to an animal’s everyday experience. Working alongside the teams who care for the animals, Cropnosys volunteers contributed their time and effort to activities that require patience, attention, and care. This experience brought employees closer to the realities of animal welfare and created a shared sense of purpose through participation. Year after year, the Volunteer Day continues to turn a few hours of employee time into practical care for animals who need it most.
Environment Stewardship
In association with Plan Foundation
Sustainability is closely connected to the health of the land, the availability of natural resources, and the communities that depend on them. As a company working within the agricultural ecosystem, Cropnosys India recognises the importance of supporting initiatives that encourage responsible environmental practices and strengthen the relationship between people and the natural resources around them. Through its association with Plan Foundation, Cropnosys has supported initiatives that bring environmental responsibility closer to communities and encourage more sustainable ways of engaging with our surroundings.
The partnership has provided a platform for Cropnosys to contribute to environmental initiatives while encouraging greater awareness and participation among employees and communities. Through these efforts, environmental responsibility becomes more than a standalone activity; it becomes part of how we approach our role within the larger ecosystem. By supporting the work of Plan Foundation and participating in initiatives focused on sustainability, Cropnosys continues to contribute towards more responsible resource use, greater environmental awareness, and healthier ecosystems for the future.
Girl Child Education
In partnership with Nanhi Kali
Cropnosys India has partnered with Nanhi Kali to help girls continue their education and access the resources they need to thrive in school. The initiative combines educational assistance with the practical support required to keep girls engaged in the classroom. Through this partnership, Cropnosys contributes to creating a stronger and more enabling environment for girls to pursue their studies.
Nanhi Kali’s work extends beyond academic learning. Its programme focuses on building confidence, communication, life skills, and a sense of independence, helping girls develop abilities that remain relevant long after their school years.
Inclusion & Empowerment
Inclusion takes shape when people have the opportunity to participate, contribute, and be recognised for what they can do. For persons with disabilities, access to meaningful livelihoods can strengthen independence and economic participation, while for women and the elderly, access to skills, resources, care, and community support can make a meaningful difference.
Cropnosys India’s CSR initiatives bring these dimensions together through efforts that encourage greater independence among women, create avenues for specially abled individuals to earn through their skills, and contribute to the well-being and dignity of senior citizens. Together, these initiatives help foster more inclusive communities where people at different stages of life can participate, contribute, and lead fulfilling lives.
Livelihoods for specially abled artisans
Through its association with Craftizen, Cropnosys India chose to celebrate Holi in a way that also celebrated the skills and creativity of specially abled artisans. Holi colours crafted by the artisans were purchased for the occasion, bringing their work into the celebrations while creating a direct source of livelihood.
The initiative gave their craftsmanship a place beyond the workshop, allowing their creativity to be appreciated and their work to be valued. What made the gesture significant was its simplicity: bringing together a festival, a thoughtfully made product, and an opportunity for artisans to earn through their skills.
Inclusion for adults with developmental delays
Cropnosys India partnered with AMBA for Life, an organisation working to change perceptions around adults with developmental delays and intellectual disabilities, with a particular focus on rural India. AMBA’s work challenged preconceived notions about their abilities and highlighted the many possibilities that could emerge when individuals were given the right environment and encouragement. Its approach placed dignity, inclusion, and individual potential at the centre, encouraging families and communities to see ability beyond conventional limitations.
Through the partnership, Cropnosys India contributed to AMBA’s work towards creating greater awareness and inclusion for adults with developmental delays. The association helped bring attention to the capabilities of individuals who were often overlooked and supported a more positive understanding of their place within families and communities. By being part of this initiative, Cropnosys contributed to a broader effort to shift perspectives, recognise potential, and create greater avenues for participation, particularly for individuals living in rural communities.
